Can't see any Contents:
After installing theme, I cannot see any of the contents I saw on the demo of this theme. |
|
Solution:
This is because weebly themes do not have contents, your website does. The contents you see on your website now and the ones you will eventually build are all located on your website, not the theme. This is why when and if you decide to change from one theme to another, your contents are not lost. Learn more about this issue |
Breadcrumbs:
I like the secondary menu on top of each page but I can't find them after installing the theme. See below screenshot: |
|
Solution:
First, you need to be sure that you're using an Header Type that has Breadcrumbs built-in. If you're using an header type with breadcrumb, you will see where it says "Click below to list menu items then select each item to link". TAKE NOTE: The current page is only highlighted in live website, not on website editor. |
Blog grid issue:
I'm using the blog grid for my blog page but it doesn't show 3 post per page like in the theme demo. When I look at my live website it shows all the blog post I have in a single row, it looks really horrible. |
|
Solution:
You need to show only 3 posts per page. To do this:
|
No read more button on blog:
My blog page doesn't show read more button. I have tried both the blog grid and blog list but it shows full posts. |
|
Solution:
It's because you haven't added the Read More Break element to your blog posts. Click here to learn how to add it. Take Note: You need to keep your first text element (the one before "read more" break) very short so that the blog columns look brief and neat as seen on theme demo. |
Blog doesn't show as grid:
I'm using the blog grid for my blog page but it doesn't show as grid. I'm adding blog posts now but it shows list instead of grid. |
|
Solution:
I believe you're on the website editor. On your website editor, grid will show as lists to make it easy for you to add/edit posts. Once your live website (published website), the grid will show as expected. |
Footer Links:
How can I build the footer links to look like theme demo? |
|
Solution:
|
Testimonials not shown as blocks:
The testimonials page doesn't show block by block like theme demo. Mine shows one long block with all the testimonials. |
|
It's because you're using one SECTION element for all your testimonials. You need to use separate SECTION element for each testimonial. That's to say, for each testimonial must have its own SECTION element. 5 testimonials equal 5 SECTION elements. You can copy a section element to keep same format/layout for all testimonials. |
FAQs:
I have added the title and text elements to the FAQs page but it doesn't hide and show the answers like the theme demo. |
|
Solution:
There are 3 content sections within the FAQs page. The middle section is the one for you need to use for the accordion to work. Once you drop title element on the middle section, you will see it styled as seen on the theme demo. On your website editor, the title and texts elements are displayed as lists to make it easy for you to build questions and answers. The accordion will work (toggle) as expected on live website. |
404 not like demo:
I have some URL that go to 404 when visited. I'm trying to get my 404 page to look like the demo. |
|
Solution:

Bullet Points (Unordered Lists):
My texts with bulleted lists do not have the stylish circles, it's just default black. |
|
Solution:
You must have turned off the last theme option that reads "Don't Touch". Follow below instructions to fix it:
